About Steady Remote

Who runs it

Steady Remote is run by one person, Kevin, from Brooklyn, New York. There is no company behind it, no sales team, and no employer portal. It is a side project built to be trustworthy first.

Why it exists

Remote customer service work is real, and it is the kind of work most job boards treat as overflow: listings marked remote that are not, pay figures that were never in the posting, and “jobs” that are recruitment pitches. This site exists to do one narrow thing well: list remote customer service and support jobs in the United States, show the pay, and check each listing before it goes up.

The pay floor

Every listing that shows pay pays $20 an hour or more, and a pay figure only appears when the employer's own posting states it or confirms it. A listing whose pay we cannot confirm says so rather than guessing.

No fees, ever

Steady Remote is free for job seekers and always will be. No legitimate employer charges you to work, and no listing here will ask you to pay for training, equipment, or a background check. If one does, tell us and it comes down.
